1. About us
These terms apply to all services provided by Future Remapping, operated by Gavin Warner from 35 The Birch Way, Trefechan, Merthyr Tydfil, CF48 2HA. By booking work with us, you agree to these terms.
2. Quotes & pricing
Prices quoted by registration are valid for 30 days and assume the vehicle is in roadworthy condition and matches the details supplied. We reserve the right to revise a quote if the vehicle differs materially or if pre-existing faults are discovered that require additional work.
3. Diagnostic-first policy
Before any ECU calibration change we perform a fault-code and live-data check. Where a vehicle has an underlying mechanical or sensor fault that would compromise a remap, we will inform you before proceeding. If you choose not to proceed, no charge is made beyond any agreed diagnostic fee.
4. Reversibility & file backup
Your factory ECU file is read and archived against your ECU serial number before any change is made. We can reload the original calibration at any time for a standard reversal fee. Backup integrity is checked at the time of write.
5. Warranty
ECU modifications can affect manufacturer warranties. It is your responsibility to check the implications with your manufacturer or dealer. We do not accept liability for any consequential loss of manufacturer warranty arising from a remap you have authorised.
6. Insurance
An ECU remap is a notifiable modification under most UK motor insurance policies. It is your responsibility to declare the modification to your insurer. We are happy to provide a job sheet on request.
7. Performance figures
Any power, torque or MPG figures published or quoted are typical results for the model in question and depend on engine condition, ECU revision, fuel quality, gearbox and ambient conditions. We do not guarantee specific numerical gains on your vehicle.
8. Payment
Payment is due on completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept bank transfer and major card payments.
9. Liability
Our liability is limited to the value of work invoiced. We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
